The new president of The American Board for Certification, William DeToro, CO, FAAOP, and the ABC Board of Directors have approved the establishment of the ABC Public Relations and Marketing Department.
Formerly known as the ABC Marketing Department, the title change reflects the departmental focus on public communications and professional relationships. This department will continue to function in close coordination with ABC’s facility accreditation and credentialing programs.
Russ Hornfisher will continue leadership as chairman of the five member Public Relations and Marketing Committee, tasked with setting annual department strategies and providing recommendations to the Board of Directors. Staff liaison Tom Derrick is the ABC Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator.
