The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC) is pleased to announce publication of the 2007 Registry & Reference Guide and the 2006 Annual Report.
The Registry provides listings and contact information on all ABC accredited patient care facilities plus certified and credentialed orthotists, prosthetists, pedorthists and assisting O&P professionals. A valuable tool for O&P professionals, case managers, medical directors and credential verification specialists, The Registry serves as a source for finding those O&P facilities and professionals who have met ABC standards.
In addition to the printed version of The Registry, an up-to-date online version is available at www.oandpcare.org/directory.
Unfortunately, this year’s Registry’s index section was produced and printed with significant omissions. Instead of containing the names of all ABC credentialed individuals, the index only contains the names of those individuals working in ABC accredited facilities. This mistake has resulted in thousands of omissions from the index, including ABC leadership. The complete index has been recreated and is available for download here for your reference.
