ABC is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, www.abcop.org. The ABC website has been updated to provide visitors with a more user-friendly experience, while allowing them to access information quicker and easier than ever before. “The entire ABC staff has worked hard to ensure the new website contains information and resources needed by the O, P & P community,” said ABC’s Executive Director, Catherine Carter. “I believe users of the new site will find it very helpful as well as easy to navigate.”
The updated ABC site features up-to-date Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) live and distance learning course listings in an easy to navigate format. This new search function is particularly beneficial in light of the current policy that certifees must earn the majority of MCE credits in the discipline in which they are certified.
“Our goal is to ensure that our certifees can comply with the MCE requirements and that the information they need is easy to find. Though it is still the responsibility of the individual to research the specifics of courses that will help contribute to their continuing education, we want to make finding the information as easy as possible,” Heather Harris, ABC’s Director of Continuing Education, stated.
With the new site, ABC accredited facilities and certified individuals will continue to have the ability to view and edit their online profile, print their MCE and CEAR statements, as well as pay annual fees and any outstanding invoices online.
“Using the new website not only offers a quick and secure way to pay your annual fees, but now, any changes you make to your contact information will display in the on-line directory within 24 hours,” said ABC’s Database Manager, Roxanne Bobb-Semple.
In addition to the site’s new technical features, the design of the new site provides visitors with a welcoming experience when they first reach ABC’s home page. Please go to www.abcop.org to view the new and improved ABC website.
