The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC) is pleased to announce its contribution to the Amputee Coalition’s Bridge to Ability Fund in memory of Todd F. Anderson, CP, FAAOP. The $10,000 contribution serves to honor Anderson’s compassion and involvement in serving the amputee population. The board felt that this was a fitting tribute to his memory and would help continue the good works that were the hallmark of Anderson’s contributions to the profession and the public.
The Bridge to Ability Fund provides scholarships to new amputees to attend the Amputee Coalition National Conference. The scholarships provide a full conference registration as well as lodging expenses. This provides these individuals an opportunity to have this valuable experience regardless of their financial situation.
